TV commercial for Macmillan Cancer Care.
This 60s TV spot was produced as part of the Macmillan Gifts in Wills campaign. Working very closely with Macmillan’s digital agency, we created a piece that weaves together stories of people living with cancer with that of a central character Mary who reflects on her life and chooses to support Macmillan by leaving a gift to the charity in her will.
The film was shot over two full days on location, with stills being shot separately to provide imagery for the print campaign. Post production was carried out in-house with the VO being provided by Bill Bailey.

We travelled to the heart of the Peak District to meet Sallie who was braving the shave for her sister Helen. Sallie’s shave was carried out by her partner in front of a group of friends and colleagues with her sister watching on via her iPad.
After the event we conducted an emotional audio interview with Sallie, the content of which formed the voice over for her film.
