Embraer Incredible Journeys Episode 7 - Brazil

In this episode filmed prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Arthur travels to Embraer's home country, Brazil. There he speaks to one of their biggest airline partners, Azul Brazillian Airlines, about the introduction of their new fleet of E195-E2 jets, and what this could mean for connectivity in this vast country.

Arthur's trip also takes in the unique architecture of the captial Brasilia, landing an E190 at Salvador airport in the simulator, and a flight on Embraer's legendary Bandeirante.

       
     
Embraer Incredible Journeys Episode 6 - Switzerland

In episode 6 of the Incredible Journeys series, Arthur travels to the IWC Museum in Schaffheusen, Switzerland where he learns about precision engineering in the design and manufacture of Swiss pilot watches.

Back at Zurich airport he chats to Helvetic Airways' about the success of their new Embraer E190-E2, and finds out from the aiport’s CEO how the aircraft is helping to reduce noise and emisssions in the region.

       
     
Embraer Incredible Journeys - Kazakhstan

Episode 5 of the series sees Arthur travel to Kazakhstan in search of the country’s national animal - the snow leopard.

There are thought to be only around 100 of the animals currently in the country, out of a population of only 10,000 worldwide, so spotting one in the wilderness wasn’t going to be easy.

Back in the city of Almaty, Arthur visits the national carrier Air Astana who, inspired by Embraer’s painting of animals on their demonstrator aircraft, have decided to paint a snow leopard onto their new E2 Jet. Arthur meets the pilot of the jet to find out what people think of this unique livery.

Embraer Incredible Journeys - USA

In this episode Arthur travels to Florida to find out what the North American aviation media think of Embraer’s new E190-E2. From there he travels to Indianapolis to speak with Bryan Bedford of Republic Airways one of Embraer’s biggest customers, about their relationship with the manufacturer, and also their new LIFT Academy, an initiative to train more pilots and create extra jobs in the industry.

Whilst there he gets the opportunity to go up in one of their Diamond DA40 single engined planes, and take the controls for a flight around the airfield.

Arthur’s final destination is the home of American motor sport, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
